Become a member
of WGSP

Becoming a member of our school partnership is a straightforward process designed to foster collaboration and mutual growth. Whilst many of our schools are located in the Forest of Dean, we are happy to accept schools from outside of this locality.

Here’s how you can join:

Steps to Become a Member:

1. Initial Inquiry:

   - Contact us via email or phone to express your interest in joining the school partnership.

Our contact details are available on our website.

2. Application Form:

   - Fill out the membership application form, which includes details about your institution, goals for the partnership, and areas of interest.

3. Approval and Agreement:

   - Upon approval, you will receive a formal invitation to join. We will provide an agreement outlining the terms and conditions of the partnership, which must be signed by both your Governing Body and Headteacher.

4. Orientation and Onboarding:

   - Participate in a Partnership Network Meeting to familiarise yourself with our partnership’s members, resources, tools, and collaborative opportunities.

5. Active Participation:

   - Begin engaging with our network through scheduled meetings, collaborative projects, and sharing of best practices.

Benefits of Membership:

- Access to a network of schools for sharing resources and best practices.

- Professional development opportunities for staff.
