Using A.I to Support S.E.N.D

This engaging half day training session, provides school staff with the practical insight into how artificial intelligence (AI) tools can be used to support learners with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND).

Through hands-on activities, real-world examples and collaborative discussions, participants will explore how AI can help personalise learning, support communication and reduce workload for staff working with SEND students.

Designed to inspire innovations and build confidence, this session introduces accessible AI tools such as adaptive learning platforms, text-to-speech and speech-to-text apps, and AI-powered planning aids that can enhance teaching, learning and support strategies for SEND. Educators and support staff will leave equipped with actionable ideas for integrating AI in to their daily practice, improving outcomes for pupils and streamlining administrative tasks.

Using Technology to Empower S.E.N.D

This engaging half day training session, provides school staff with practical strategies for using technology to empower and support learners with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND).

Through interactive demonstrations, hands-on explorations and collaborative discussions, participants will discover how a range of digital tools can enhance access to learning, promote independence and personalise support.

Designed to build confidence and spark creativity, this session showcases, accessible technologies such as assistive apps, communication aids, inclusive classroom tools and learning platforms tailored to diverse needs. 

Educators and support staff will leave with practical knowledge and inspiring ideas for integrating technology in to SEND provision, helping to remove barriers and improve outcomes for all learners.

S.E.N.D Network Meeting

SEND Network Meetings are held a few times a year and provide the opportunity for SENCOs to meet and share expertise, good practice and ideas.
